Intensive In-home Services Provided for Youth
Serving Children & Adolescents (Ages 5–17) with Virginia Medicaid
At Full of Faith, LLC, we understand that raising a child with serious behavioral challenges can feel overwhelming. You are not alone. Our Intensive In-Home (IIH) Services are designed to provide structured, compassionate, and clinically sound support
directly in your home and community.
We proudly serve children and adolescents ages 5–17 who have active Virginia Medicaid and are experiencing significant emotional or behavioral difficulties.
What Are Intensive In-Home (IIH) Services?
Intensive In-Home Services are short-term, high-intensity mental health services created to:
- Stabilize serious behavioral concerns
- Prevent psychiatric hospitalization or out-of-home placement
- Improve family functioning
- Strengthen emotional regulation and coping skills
- Increase success at home, school, and in the community
Services are provided where challenges occur most often — in the home, school, and community — to create real, lasting change.
Who Qualifies?
Children and adolescents may be eligible if they:
- Are between ages 5–17
- Have active Virginia Medicaid (currently accepting HMO's-Sentara Healthplan, Humana & United Healthcare)
- Have a qualifying mental health diagnosis
- Are at risk of hospitalization, school expulsion, or removal from the home
- Demonstrate serious emotional or behavioral challenges
- Show significant impairment in daily functioning
Common concerns we address include:
- Aggression or oppositional behaviors
- Severe defiance or anger outbursts
- Anxiety and depression
- ADHD-related behavioral struggles
- Trauma-related symptoms
- School suspensions or chronic behavioral issues
- Family conflict
Eligibility is determined through a comprehensive clinical assessment.
